Air-Dried Food
Gently cooked low and slow, our food has all the nutritious benefits of a fresh diet, with all the convenience of kibble.
Your Questions, Answered.
The process of air-drying enables a food's inherent vitamins and minerals to be retained over an extended period of time without the need for preservatives.
Since all the natural nutrients are retained, air-dried food doesn't need to be topped up with synthetic vitamins and artificial additives — as is the case with kibble and dry dog foods which lose most of their nutrients during their high-temperature cooking processes.
Air-dried food also offers additional benefits to raw feeding in that it eliminates all harmful bacteria and pathogens from food, rendering it shelf-stable for up to 6 months.
Put simply, air-dried delivers all the nutritional benefits of raw feeding, but with the ease and convenience of kibble.
Yes! Our unique air-drying process preserves the nutritional benefits of our natural ingredients whilst also eliminating any harmful germs and bacteria. We also undergo rigorous 3rd party tests to ensure all our ingredients and the final product meets the highest quality standards.
Our food is gently air-dried at 142 F, which is the minimum temperature needed to kill off harmful bacteria and pathogens. Unlike kibble that's made using 'hot extrusion' — a high-heat, high-pressure cooking process that decimates the food's inherent nutritional value — our low-and-slow approach ensures that none of the ingredients' natural vitamins, minerals and amino acids escape.
Sure is!
Our Air-Dried Beef recipe is AAFCO-compliant, classed as ‘complete and balanced’ and is suitable for dogs at All Life Stages as their core diet.
Our Air-Dried Chicken recipe, however, is AAFCO-compliant for adult dogs only, and is not yet considered ‘complete and balanced’ for dogs under 12 months old.
If your pup has a strong preference for chicken over beef, you can safely feed them our chicken recipe as a supplementary food topper or training treat.
When transitioning your dog onto their new air-dried food, it’s important to make the switch slowly to avoid any potential tummy troubles or palatability issues.
We recommend making this change incrementally over a period 7 days by mixing your dog’s new food into old food like so:
- Day 1-2: Supplement 25% of your dog’s existing food with their new air-dried dog food.
- Day 3-4: Supplement 50% of your dog’s existing food with their new air-dried dog food.
- Day 5-6: Supplement 75% of your dog’s existing food with their new air-dried dog food.
- Day 7: Crack out the champagne and belly rubs! Your dog is ready for their 100% air-dried food regime.
Our air-dried food stays fresh for up to 6 months when the bag is left unopened. Once the seal is broken, it should be consumed within 6 weeks. For optimum flavor and freshness, we recommend storing it in a cool, dry place.
- Our standard bag size is 2.5lbs / 40oz / 1134g
- Each bag contains 11.5 cups
- Each cup weighs ~0.22lbs / 3.5oz / 100g
Depending on the size of your dog, one 2.5lb bag will last approximately...
- 10lb: ½-¾ cups/day = 15-23 days of food
- 20lb: ¾-1 cups/day = 12-15 days of food
- 30lb: 1-1¼ cups/day = 9-12 days of food
- 40lb: 1¼-1½ cups/day = 7-9 days of food
- 50lb: 1½-1¾ cups/day = 7-8 days of food
- 60lb: 1¾-2 cups/day = 6-7 days of food
- 70lb: 2-2¼ cups/day = 6 days of food
- 80lb: 2¼-2½ cups/day = 5 days of food
- 100lb: 2½-3 cups/day = 4 days of food
For every additional 20lbs (above 100lb) add another ⅓ cups to your dog’s bowl.

These recommendations are only intended to provide a starting point. Since every dog is different, landing on the right portion size for your pup may take some trial and error.
